Quilting & Binding
Here's a final look at the quilt that I have been helping a friend make for her daughter-in-law. (See the previous posts about this quilt HERE and HERE.) My friend chose to "quilt by check" and let Anya do the actual quilting on this quilt. The quilting doesn't show up that well in the photo, but it's a lovely meander that allows the design of the quilt to shine through. Yesterday we had a quick lesson in binding and once the handwork is done, the quilt will be finished and there will officially be a new quilter among our ranks!

Turned out very pretty....it is nice of you to help her make her first quilt!
Very cute quilt! Is quilting something you think she will continue to do?
That is certianly a very nice quilt and the quilting looks good on it. I clicked on the second photo and it showed up just fine. That was so nice of you to help her with it. What a friend you are.
What a colorful, happy quilt! Awesome! I bet your friend will be hooked after that project!
Oh so pretty, I love the brightness of it! Thank you for helping your friend to become a quilt maker...we need to keep it going!
That is so pretty and Summery. I'm sure she is proud of it. I hope it will be the 1st of many for her.
