Just how many projects should one quilter have going at one time??? My tumbler blocks are still on the design wall, but over the weekend I started stitching these blocks together for a disappearing nine-patch quilt. I also have the binding to do on the quilt that I quilted last week and I won't even mention my poor neglected Dear Jane project or the basket in the closet that is over flowing with UFO's! I sometimes wish that I could be more like my friends who just work on one project at a time, but for the most part I enjoy working on different projects and being able to pick and choose what I work on each day. After all, variety is the spice of life, right?
Be sure to stop by Patchwork Times to see what other quilters have on their design walls this week and add your latest project to the list too!

I'm with you about being able to work on a variety of projects. But occasionally, I do attempt to focus to finish a project -- which is the mode I'm in right now. Can't wait to see your D9
I am also working on a disappearing 9 patch for a baby quilt for my new grandchild coming Nov. 11 -- we don't know whether it's a boy or girl so my colors are yellow and greenish. I love that design! I also love having several projects at a time!!! It's exciting that way!
Many of us have the same lament.
I love doing the D9P blocks. It is amazing what they turn out to be.
I do this for fun so I try real hard to not feel guilty about my progress or lack thereof. That doesn't always work! :)
I am the same as you...the more projects on the go, the happier I am!
I love that pattern, it's the best for something quick. I've just noiticed the blurb above the comment box. Good idea!
I try to only do one project at a time, but while I'm doing one I'm sometimes thinking about the next one. Then, I have to get up and check to make sure I have everything I need for the next one or two, etc.... Then, I get back to the original, and it starts all over again.
