Have you heard about
Leah Day's new blog
365 Days of Free Motion Quilting? If you haven't seen this wonderful blog then you need to
stop what you are doing right now finish reading this post and then go and see what Leah is doing for the quilting world! She's on a journey to post 365 different free motion quilt designs each day for the next year. Not only is she showing a different design every day, but she is also sharing instructions along with a video for each design! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was to find Leah's blog. I have played with free mo
tion quilting a little bit, but I am certainly not confident enough with free motion to actually use it on a quilt. Thanks to Leah's willingness to share her quilting knowledge and instructions, I may actually give free motion quilting a try!
Leah is not only the author of
365 Days Of Free Motion Quilting, but she is also the owner of
Day Style Designs Online, so be sure to stop by both sites and see all that this talented young quilter has to offer!

This looks great, thanks for sharing!
I agree. I found that site a couple of weeks ago and love it!
Thanks for the new site...I love finding new places to enjoy.
Smiles,
Kelly
Your photos are wonderful. I've only had 1 try at free motion quilting and found I had made a lot of mistakes like not dropping the machine feed, not stopping and doing a small area at a time, and cutting before the quilting was done. Big mistakes but I will try again. Thanks for the helpful link.
Thank you for sharing this link: it is just what I needed!
Love from France.

Thanks Susan, I will check her site out. I am not real confident at FMQ yet either but did try it on a doll quilt, which wasn't any bigger than a sample piece of fabric.
Thank you so much for sharing this site :) What an inspiration!!

Wow Susan! Thanks for sharing this site!! I am so excited.
Thanks, Susan, for sharing! I will check it out!
I'm anxious to check out her site. I've done FMQ on my own quilts for years, and most days I still feel inadequate and like a beginner. I need a fresh look at it, and I bet this will be it.
Thanks for the information!
Thanks Susan! What wonderful fill designs - and I think she's even using a Juki in her videos (at least it sounds like a Juki and the foot looks right). This will be a daily "must see" for me.
Thank you so much for the great link!
I found her blog a couple of days ago and bookmarked it. Can't wait to see 365 different patterns!
