I know that normal is really just a setting on the dryer, but after the last few months, I'm ready for any kind of normal that I can get! Unfortunately, the tonsillectomy that I had in October did not take care of the problem that I have been having with my throat. The Reader's Digest condensed version is my persistent sore throat is being caused by a nerve and just before the holidays I was diagnosed with
glossopharyngeal neuralgia. I have more testing ahead, but for now I'm looking into some holistic ways to manage the pain. The one thing that I have found that helps the most is staying so busy that I don't have time to think about it, so for now I am going to dial the knob to normal and see what happens!
