Sidetracked By Selvages

I think selvages can sidetrack me faster than anything! Saturday morning I saw a little Chinese Coins selvage quilt that was made by Krista Hennebury of Poppyprint featured on the Selvage Blog. I tried telling myself that I had enough projects going on and UFO's to finish, but I couldn't resist and by Saturday night I was sewing a few selvages together for my own Mini Chinese Coins selvage quilt. After all, it's just a small wall hanging. It won't take long to finish. It will just be a minor diversion...right?

oh sweet! I have a drawer of selvages...and since I didn't mention anything about them in my DWmonday post, no one will be the wiser if I play around...hehe
Have you seen the selvage dress??? I'll have to find it and post it.

Hmmm - I seem to recognize alot of these fabrics! Especially all the Tula Pink Neptune ones! You'll have your selvage quilt done before I finish the quilt the selvages are cut from! Can't wait to see your finished project.

I don't think there is a quilter alive who couldn't relate to having a minor diversion. I think it's like petting fabric...it's just a part of us and we can't help it (lol). Looks like a fun little quilt, can't wait to see it done.
