All The Better To See You With!
I've been putting it off for awhile, but I finally broke down and went for an eye exam and got new glasses. My prescription had changed quite a bit, especially in the bifocal department, so I'm hoping that threading needles and handwork will be much easier now!

Hi Susan~
Whenever I go to the eye doc and he changes my precription it always feels like someone has washed the windshield~it feels so good to see clearly!! Have fun sewing!
Eileen
prescription...ha!
Hopefully it will make a big difference for you. I have my exam next month.
I hope it helps!! Going to any doctor is a pain but usually worth it in the end.
It is better to see what you are doing, I'm wearing them on my eyes or on my head all the time now, LOL. Hope it improves the sewing, who would've thought glasses would come to the front of the list as "favorite necessity quilting tool" ?!?
I just go new glasses, too! It's so much better, but I would still like to find a needle threader that fits into the eye of my smaller needles. Sometimes that thread just doesn't want to go in!
Yes it is the eyes we need along with the fingers for our sewing love!
I go in Oct. I am 'feelin' some new ones coming too..;-)
Hugs,
Lola
I've been thanking my blessing for my TRIfocals lately while I've been smocking.
Snap Susan, thats what I did this week also, just waiting to be told my new glasses are ready to be collected. I have been wearing glasses fulltime and this time I went to a different optometrist and he asked why I am wearing glasses for distance when I don't need them.--Yahoo. Glasses just for close up work again.
hugs Deb
Once you get used to the new prescription, it'll be so wonderful to be able to thread a needle, etc. I know!!!
Well done Susan it's so easy to put things off. Hopefully you will now enjoy quilting even more.
Ugh...hate the eyedoctor!! Which one is better "A" or "B", "B" or "C"? They all look the same!! Okay, you know the routine, but I HATE it!! But love seeing the stuff I missed before the appt.! Hope you love your new frames!
