The Flip Side

Yesterday's snow day project was to piece a backing for the tumbler quilt. The pink fabric that I had for the backing was just a bit to narrow, so I added a strip of tumbler blocks. It was a little more work than what I normally put into a backing, but I think it will look nice once the quilt is all together.

That looks great! I think it is nice when you put some blocks on the back too.

It looks good! And it's a great way to use up leftover pieces from the front! :0)

I like the effect of your tumbler strip and think it will look great as a backing. Nice job!

I always think the backs that have a little "extra" in them have more interest than plain backs. I love what you've done with yours.

Is this another one from your UFO pile?

What a great idea! I love it when the back has something interesting going on. I always see the back of a quilt that's used as a blanket. This makes it a "twofer"! :)

Sorry to be so late in commenting -- got way behind in blogging. You've really been doing fun stuff!
