This Saturday members of the Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild will be participating in National Make a Blanket Day for Project Linus. Several of us will be spending the day working together to make as many quilts as possible to donate to our local chapter of Project Linus. It's always a fun time sewing with my quilty friends, but it's even more fun when we are sewing for such a good cause!
If you can quilt, crochet, or knit - please consider making a quilt or blanket on Make a Blanket Day for a child who needs a little extra love.

For some reason I thought it was in March. Have fun. I know you'll get a lot accomplished.
I considered making a blanket for Project Linus but there are no chapters to donate it too around here. Not that I could find anyway...
That is a nice simple easy quilt there. Glad your all getting together for blanket day. I am sure you will turn out a lot of them.
What a sweet quilt. I am sure it will give great comfort and warmth to some very lucky child! xxoo
Susan, what a fun way to make blankets for Project Linus. I am sure y'all will accomplish quite a bit while enjoy each other's company.
