Batchelor Buttons
Ever since seeing all of the beautiful needle turned applique at the Quit Odyssey quilt show I have been thinking that I should at least give it a try. This Dear Jane block, B-1 Batchelor Buttons, is my first attempt at needle turn applique. I don't think it came out too bad, except for that one circle that is a little flat on one side, but as the saying goes...finished is better than perfect!

There you go Susan, already putting your Quilt Odyssey observations to good use! As for your *one* circle having a bit of a flat side ~ my granddaughter and I apply the rule that "only God is Perfect and we don't compete with that", so if we don't have an actual *whoops* we make one ~ could be a circle with a flat side, or a block that is turned wrong, but we quilt to enjoy not to be perfect!! You can enjoy your quilting, it is looking good. Keep on quilting!
Thanks for the encouraging words Barb!
