I think it's safe to say that the majority of the quilts shown at the Quilt Odyssey quilt show this year had at least some needle turn applique on them somewhere. I'm not sure if that's the current trend or if it was just coincidence, but there was applique everywhere you looked...beautiful applique!
This quilt, "Red Green, Red Green, Fantasy Flowers Are a Dream" (That's a great name for a quilt isn't it?), was hand appliqued and hand quilted by Fay and Merl Pritts.

thanks for showing the your pictures of the Quilt Oddessy. This year our guild is going to the show in Harrisburg in September.
The Harrisburg show is always a good one! I haven't decided if I will go this year or not though. Our guild's quilt show is in September this year (I'll be posting more about that later), so September promises to be a very busy quilt month here!
