Here is my Finish 6 Challenge quilt for January...all finished! It's quite the quilt, isn't it? I rescued this top from the thrift store, so I can't take credit for the pattern or design on this one. You can probably guess why this quilt was moved to the bottom of the "to quilt" list. I mean, honestly, what is up with that crazy giraffe block in the middle of all those flowery calico pints? As I was quilting I pondered on that question. Just what was the maker thinking? Did she have a sense of humor? Was she out of calico? Was she out of her mind? I don't know, but as I was quilting, this quilt began to grow on me and now that it's done (I am almost afraid to admit this) I like it!

Personally, I think it makes the quilt. But then, I'm a bit crazy! ;)
Wouldn't it be fun to know why that piece is in there?
It's kinda like life. Little suprises...LOL!
