All Tied Up!
Earlier this week my husband came home from work and asked if I could make quilts from ties. I reminded him of the little quilt that I had made from ties for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative a couple of years ago and told him that I had some ties leftover for another quilt one day. That's when he handed me a box and said that he had a few more for my collection. One of his friends is cleaning out in preparation for a move and thought that I might like to have them. I haven't counted them, but I can tell you that the box weighs 7 pounds! That's a lot of ties!

Oh wow, what a treasure trove! I can't wait to see what you whip up with those ties. Lucky you!
Good hubby too! (wink)
OH MY!! 7 pounds of ties!! You are off to a good start!!
7 lbs???? Oh my. Ties are always so pretty too. I can't wait to see what you create.
Wow - those will make a huge quilt! I made a bunch of quilt blocks from ties many years ago, and they're still in a basket waiting to be sewn together into a quilt. I bet you get your quilt done before I do mine! Can't wait to see what you do with them...
The ones in the picture are great, and there are 7 pounds of ties! FUN
You shouldn't be short of ties, what a stash. My Dd made a skating skirt from ties so there's a lot of ways to recycle them.
Ties are always such interesting designs too. I have some around here somewhere too.
