Did you hear my big sigh of relief? My machine has been fixed and thankfully the problem was just the light and not a major electrical issue. A whole new lamp has been installed and how nice it is to sew with a nice bright light instead of a strobe light!
(Remember when you just had to replace a bulb when the light quit working?)

Yes that was so much easier! Glad it wasn't something major!
Oh my, you have to send yours in for a new bulb, so to speak! Are you sure you don't wish to buy my 2nd Bernina 930. I still change the bulbs on that one.
Happy for you that you have your machine back!
So you had to replace the entire light strip? Not just one bulb, like you hoped? Still, that's better than an entire electrical system...
Oh yes.......the joys of the older machines when you could service them yourself with a little oil and lubricant! Glad your machine is back and working well.
