I have mentioned before that I am adding some traditional quilt blocks to my Dear Jane quilt. I paper pieced this block, birds in the air, and I really like the way this one turned out. I don't know that all of the blocks I have made will make it into "the quilt", but I think this one will make it in for sure!

Looks good! I have done a few birds in the air blocks without paper piecing, and they are tricky to get just right. I think next time I would probably do what you did and paper piece.
That is a lovely fabric combination. I have now learned what "birds in the air" looks like. Thanks
I like this block too...well I like all of your blocks...your fabric choices are great! WE must think along the same lines with our fabrics, because I see my taste in fabrics in your blocks! Your block is very well done!
