Even people who don't care for cranberries will love this cranberry applesauce!
Cranberry Applesauce
6-8 large apples, cored and quartered
1 bag fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar (more or less according to taste)
1 teaspoon cinnamon (more or less according to taste)
Place apples, cranberries and water in a large saucepan. Bring to boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until fruit is soft. Pass warm mixture
through a food mill. Add 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon to warm sauce. Refrigerate.

Applesauce is one of my favorites and so are cranberries. What a wonderful idea...now I can eat cranberries all year long.
