A New Toy

I have been debating for some time about getting an e-reader, smartphone, tablet or something of that sort and finally decided that a Kindle Fire would suit my needs the best. I really haven't had much need to store my new gadget because I've been playing with it almost constantly since I brought it home, but I thought that it would be a good idea to have a case for it just the same.  I stitched some selvages together, added velcro and a polka dot binding and voilĂ ...a envelope case for a Kindle Fire!

How cute! I got one over the weekend as an early mother's day gift. I have been playing as well. So much fun. We will have to share fun apps as we find them. I wonder if there are any fabric apps? lol

I think you've pushed me over the edge. I've been considering buying a Kindle Touch and I have quite a stash of selvages needing to be used. Now I must buy a Kindle so I can make a cute case like yours with those selvages! Convoluted logic? Maybe!

I areceived a Kindle Fire for Christmas. Love it. Wish I had made a cover instead of buying one. Your cover is unique and very creative.
