I am celiac, so the gluten free donuts that are out there are pretty minimal and huge on the palm oil! Before celiac, favorite was boston creme…..with more creme than donut part:) Maybe it's a good thing I'm celiac LOL!

Our local bakery makes these danishes that are to die for. They are amazing.
I am gluten free now and I really miss doughnuts. I loved the chocolate covered custard filled doughnuts from a local bakery. I also loved the danish pastry that was placed in a muffin pan and filled with sweetened cream cheese and then iced. Here it is called a cheese crown. Now I need to figure out how to make these GF. Sigh....

My favorite kind of donut is anything by MightyO doughnut bakery here in Seattle. Vegan donuts, but so good you'd never know they weren't bad for you! :) And the store has just gone landfill-free!! They are so great. Friends never know they're vegan ... so incredibly yummy. And now I want a donut at 10pm, thank you. :P :)
