Triangle Head Scarves

Remember the triangle head scarves of the 60's?  Apparently what was old is new again, because Miss One asked me the other day if I thought I could make one for her.  It only took one batik fat quarter and about 15 minutes of time to make "the coolest triangle head scarf ever"!  Even Ivy, the American Girl doll, got a scarf to match her outfit.  I wonder if  matching bell bottoms will be next on the request list?

cute- how nice to be able to instantly make a little girl happy!

i saw an old navy commerical the other day that advertised their new 'flare' jeans...there are the closest thing to bellbottoms that i've seen yet, so if she wants bellbottoms- take her to old navy :)

I remember wearing these! Especially on days when I was too lazy to wash my hair! :) Funny how things come back around...

I love wearing these triangle head scarves, bought some very pretty head scarves that are not triangle but they fit really well from http//www.jemimajackman.com. They have nice colours in cotton and silk.

Cool, and sweet that the American Doll gets one also...lucky Miss One! Hey talking about bell bottoms, remember the swishy sound they made when you walked...well I bought a pair of jeans about 6 mo. ago, and the look like bell bottoms and they swish when I walk...actually it annoys me now, not so cool anymore :>)! Have a great weekend!

What a great idea to make these! If only Emily was younger and would wear them!
