Sweater Weather

It seems like summer just started and here it is August already!  Fall will be here before we know it and you know what that means...sweater weather!  I have never tried knitting a sweater before, but my friend, Dori, convinced me that if I could knit socks then I could certainly knit an easy Little Girl's Shrug, so I thought I would give it a try. Little did I know at the time that each of my four granddaughters would want one...I think I'm going to be busy knitting for awhile!

Lucky granddaughters! Sit and put your feet up, and enjoy the process.

My first sweater was for one of my nieces. At least it's small! I have no doubt you'll quickly master sweater making.

Beautiful yarn! The lady who owns the quilt shop I visit took me to the local knitting/yarn store. Oh my gravy, such beautiful yarns!

I told her that learning to knit would be dangerous for me.
