I Really Didn't Need More Yarn

I don't know what happened.  When I fell off the wagon and bought all that fabric a couple of weeks ago, I must have bumped my head...amnesia maybe?  Because last week I walked into my favorite yarn shop and walked out with a bag full of yarn.  I really don't need yarn.  Honestly, my yarn stash rivals my fabric stash.  What was I thinking?  Can anyone tell me what makes fiber so darn addictive?

I too seem to be stocking up on fibers when my stash is already adequate for multiple lifetimes. Maybe it's the animal instinct to store up for a long winter of hibernation, even though our modern lifestyles don't have us secluded and unable to get out for supplies. It seems to happen to me every year about this time. Sounds like a good excuse doesn't it?

Ohhh, I don't know, how about we put a new "spin" on it and call it winter preparedness. I know you'll be making some lovely things with those yummy colors.

Hahaha, love it. Once an addict always an addict. One sniff of fabric or wool and that's it, slip off the wagon I think Susan.

Sigh, I know what you mean. I only just started weaving and I am collecting yarn as if I were going to cover the state with a giant woven patchwork.
