Another Finish
Here's another finish for CONCERN, our local foster care program. What little girl wouldn't be happy with this BRIGHT pink, purple and aqua quilt?

Quiltmaker Shuffle
Forget that crazy zumba stuff...this is a dancercise that I could actually do!

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah
I'll admit that my idea to make my favorite colors block into a zip bag wasn't all that creative, but it sure was practical! This bag is the perfect size to hold all of my travel sewing supplies!

Mug Rugs Or Desk Art?
Our two youngest granddaughters spent a couple of days with us this week and being that their mommy's birthday is coming up, we thought that it would be fun to make gifts for her. I gave the girls some plain white fabric backed with freezer paper and had them draw pictures on it with fabric markers. All it took after that was a quick heat set with the iron, a little backing, batting and easy grid quilting. I just don't know if we should call them mug rugs or desk art!

Hot Peppers And Tea?
Who doesn't love mug rugs? I made this one for a pepper loving friend who has a birthday coming up. Maybe it will help spice up her morning tea!

Another Finish
This I-Spy Disappearing 9-Patch was put together by the Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild's charity quilting group. I quilted it with a simple meander and just finished sewing the binding on. I love this quilt! It's so much fun to look at...you'll see fish, cartoon characters, bugs, flames, and even bacon and eggs! Some young man going into foster care will have a good time exploring this quilt.
