Sunshine & Shadow
A couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to attend a String Quilting workshop given by Ami Simms. It was great fun and I learned a lot, both about quilting and the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative. The other day when I came across a package of scraps from that workshop, it seemed only appropriate that they should become my March Priority: Alzheimer's Quilt...Sunshine & Shadow.

ReplyDeleteYou know, I never have gotten around to making an Alzheimer's quilt. I will do that as soon as I get my Easter sewing done. If you don't mind, send me another email with the info about where to send these, etc....
ReplyDeleteAmi Simms gave the same workshop here at our guild and I turned mine into a Linus quilt. I like your brights with dark.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty , love the brights with the black .It doesn't look very big though ,what size it this ?
ReplyDeleteA cute bright spark, it's wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNice, bright and cherie.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Priority: Alzheimer's quilt! Love the bright strings against the dark background...very appropriately named. I've got to finish my first March AAQI and hopefully complete a second one...I'm behind this month. Thanks for the push ;-)
