Grape Jelly

I am on a mission to use up some of my scraps and the first out of the box...purple!  I cut all of my purple scraps into 2 1/2" strips and made this jelly roll quilt top in hardly no time at all...
but that is only if you don't count the 15 years that it took to age some of the fabrics!

  2. Great idea! I do have a GO! which makes the strips! Now my pal Alice would love this one she loves all purples! Love the name too!!
    I have a lot of fat qts to cut up and place in the strips boxes.

  6. I wondered how an 'all one color' jelly roll quilt would look. I like it and think I might do that too with some of the 'aged' fabric too.

  7. I love it. And it would look great in any other colour too! I have a lot of pink, hm, and baby girls and big girls to sew for too!
