It's been awhile since I have made a fleece blanket for Project Linus, but the last few evenings have been chilly enough that I wanted a warm project to work on. Not only does a fleece blanket keep you warm while you are working on it, but it also warms your heart once it has been passed on to a child in need.
You can find full instructions for making fleece blankets like this one at www.skipstitch.com/instructions.
Never heard of that rotary blade. What a clever idea! And it's just perfect for fleece...
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten all about doing fleece blankets that way...thanks for the reminder.

I gotta find me a rotary cutter blade that does that! I picked up 2 pieces of fleece at the second hand store. ( 50 x 70 ) They were $2 each. Now I know how to edge them. Thanks for the tutorial. They will be for my daughters car this winter to keep the grandbaby warm.
ReplyDeletePretty cool!! Haven't seen this one, I'm thinking I might be able to pull this one off! I don't crotchet much...
