I finished the first shrug for the youngest of my four granddaughters! One down and just one more to go! One more to go? I bet you're thinking that my math is a bit off, aren't you? No, I can count just fine! The lil' cowboy's mommy (and knitter extraordinaire) has graciously offered to help me with this project! Hop over to Yarn and Tonka Trucks and have a look at the shrug she just finished for Miss Two!
For this shrug I used the Little Girl's Shrug pattern by Knitting Pure & Simple with Marble DK Yarn. It's so soft and the best part is that it's 100% acrylic and machine washable, so if it ends up in the wash it won't shrink!
That is so pretty and it looks very soft, just like you described it. How in the world did you match it up along the sleeves like that?
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous. I love the other shrug with the little fish on it too. The girls are going to love them.
ReplyDeleteOh so cute! I love the varigated wool. And the fish and bullbles- sew creative! Lucky girls!
ReplyDeleteThat's very nice and how wonderful to have a pal helping you do the 4 shrugs!
ReplyDeleteThat is so darn cute....I love it. You do such nice work. MJE sent me over to check out the shrug...she loves it too.
