Love the multicolored calico!!! Great Idea. I have a buck a block from 2008, I think, that I haven't ever even touched. Thanks a bunch for reminding me that I need to put it on my UFO list! ;0) Rats...it isn't even a WIP!!LOL!
ReplyDeleteDarn...and I thought you were going to use those blocks for a quilt for me!
ReplyDeleteThe baby quilts are a great idea -- very springy looking.
Those are going to look so pretty. Glad you are all re-inspired to finish.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful that there's a "B". Sometimes I have to go through plans A-Z before I find the right one. I'm sure it will be lovely and look forward to seeing what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good idea to me, two for the price of one and done maybe a little quicker too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute block!!
ReplyDeletethat's pretty cool!! one project results in two completes!!
ReplyDeleteNice block!!! I love the way it shows off the two colors so well.
ReplyDeletePlan B sometimes works out best!
ReplyDeleteI still have some Buck A Blocks needing quilted. Only mine is a huge quilt as I bought three kits each month and then added my own extra blocks..all made from HST's. BTW I learned that I HATE Thangles! I don't find them very accurate at all. I'd much rather cut my HST's oversized and trim. But that's just me.
ReplyDeleteSusan that sounds like a great plan.
ReplyDeleteLike you I too like to quilt my own quilts though they may not always be hand quilted.
plan Bs are good
ReplyDeleteI have 2 complete sets of Buck A Blocks from 3 or 4 years ago--still in their little plastic bags, untouched. I had big plans at the time but nothing happened. They're not UFOs, or WIPs, they're just "want to make" projects. I need to follow your lead, look at them again, maybe from a different direction, and get to work on them.
ReplyDeleteOur guild collected all those unfinished buck a blocks and used them in this year's raffle quilt. Take a look for some more ideas. http://www.friendshipstar.org
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute block. It's amazing what you can do with half square triangles and different fabrics.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great plan!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!!! I need to get going on my children's blankets.
