WOW either place they will be beautiful...I need to check on this *Bed Sheet Quilt* concept :>)!! Yep I need another project on my list! Cool, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen these but cute idea. I have some sheets here I could probably use! Another thing to watch out for at sales and goodwills!
ReplyDeleteThey just don't make sheets that pretty anymore. I think you got a great deal and you can store them with your quilt fabric. I think I need to hit my thrift store.
ReplyDeletei say go for it!
ReplyDeleteI think the sheets of yesteryear are much prettier and much softer than what we have to buy now. Can't wait to see how you quilt them! Should be fun!
ReplyDeleteI use 100 % cotton sheets from the thrift stores all the time for backing .I also hand quilt and don't have any problems .Check out the table cloths and curtain sections also ,my favorite is duvets .
ReplyDeleteha, ha Susan I have been doing the very same thing. I would really like to make a quilt from the sheets, but my daughter keeps taking them and putting them on her bed ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the reuse part and think they'd make many awesome picnic quilts!
ReplyDeletePut them in with your fabric stash. I would love to use some old sheets on the backs of quilts. Our thrift stores here are kind of lousy for those things. I like the old sheet idea.
