Remember way back in March when I said that I was going to get this top basted and quilted, so it wouldn't become a UFO? (Click
HERE if you forgot about it too.) True to my word, here it is (only 5 months later) all basted and ready to quilt! Just how long does a project have to sit around before it's labeled as a UFO anyway?
Looking forward to seeing the finished quilt. Love the close-up view.
ReplyDeleteI think calling a project a UFO is related not only to time as to frame of mind. As long as I remember that I have a project, even if I don't work on it steadily, I don't consider it a UFO.
But when I pack it up, forget about it, and then tah DAH -- some day I find a project I forgot I had -- that's a UFO. (It probably has a lot to do with packing it away too.)
On that note, I think I'd better check my UFOs. They're no doubt multiplying back in a corner somewhere.
I love those fabrics! (Naturally, since I do a lot of cowboy/western-related stuff.)
ReplyDeleteHia Susan, well it's a WiP you're working on it.
ReplyDeleteI think a UFO is what you put in the back of a drawer and hope it will do something to itself when you're not looking. LOL
Well done for getting on with it.
I think us quilters have to have UFOs...it required! So don't feel bad. You'll get to it! And it's very very cute!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt and I think we all have UFO's. I just hope I finish some before the fabric goes bad.
