Sudden Urge,To Splurge!

I got a sudden urge to splurge yesterday, so Anya and I headed off to the farmer's market in Lewisburg, PA and then on to Verna's Farbrics for a day of shopping. Both places were over flowing with great deals! I came home with all sorts of fresh fruits and veggies and this bundle of red, white and blue 30's reproduction fabrics. I have a feeling that I will be eating peaches, cherries, zucchini, lettuce, tomatoes, corn and cucumbers until they come out of my ears and goodness knows that I already had enough fabric...yes, it was a splurge kind of day!

  2. Glad to hear you had such a rewarding day. I really like the black/red/white checkered fabric with the sail boats. I'm going to have to visit my local fabric store to see if they have it in stock. Do you have a project slated for your fabric?

  4. I'm originally from Muncy, PA so I know all about the farmer's market in Lewisburg and Verna's. Everytime I go home I try my hardest to make a stop at her shop:) I just wish I lived closer then again if I did I would have an out of control fabric stash problem:)

  5. You have some of my favorite fabrics with your purchase of yesterday! Verna has a wonderful amount of the 30s fabrics! And the farmer's market is amazing to shop at, especially now. PA has had some great growing weather...and we share the results at the market ;>)!!

  7. I have cukes coming out my ears too but that fabric was too good to pass up. Those 30's repro's don't last long and if you want them you better get them. I like your selection
