Ready And Waiting

Here is a full view of the disappearing nine-patch that I just finished for our new granddaughter. The squares for the nine patches were cut at 6 inches. I used 6 blocks total and added a 3 1/2 inch border all the way around. The quilt finished out at 38" x 54". Now we just need a baby to wrap up in it!

  1. At least you're ready for when she decides that she's ready to make her appearance! How's the expectant mama doing?!

  4. Be sure to leave one quilt to bind while waiting at the hospital. It will help the time pass as you wait for the stork's arrival! It will make a wonderful present for the baby..."I finished this the day you were born." (My grandson is 7 weeks)
