Makeup Bag
My oldest granddaughter stopped by the other day and asked if I could make her a new makeup bag. I told her that I could, but suggested that I could help her make her own bag if she wanted, so we headed off to the sewing room. She really wanted to use turquoise fabric, but the best I could come up with was a few scraps. Then I remembered what I learned from Pat Sloan a few weeks ago and we put those scraps together to make a striped turquoise and green fabric. We ended up with just enough for a fun new makeup bag that matches her favorite color nail polish perfectly!

ReplyDeleteEverything is better scrappy! Love the little bag.
ReplyDeleteThat looks fantastic and I am sure she was thrilled with it. LOVE the colors.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I think it's prettier than one piece of fabric would have been.
ReplyDeleteI Love your little Zipper bags ! They are very nice! I just made 20 pencil bags with the Koolaide & Carpi Sun juice bags for my craft students at church plus my grand children.
ReplyDeleteI am sure the cloth ones would have been better but this is what they wanted ,not hard at all . I will post a blog about them soon.
