I like this one best, with your idea of a darker border on either side. there is a lot of background otherwise. Of course if you leave them like this, they "float".
ReplyDeleteYes, this works nicely.
ReplyDeleteYes, I like this one best too.
ReplyDeleteYes! I like this a lot!
ReplyDeleteLove this...
ReplyDeleteThat one does look best. I have to lay them out and look at them for a few days before I can tell. Maybe keep it simple is the best.
ReplyDeleteI have pieced a border like this, only there were different colors on each side of the squares. Clear as mud? You can check out the pictures here:

Maybe that would give you the color that you are looking for!

Yup, like that one the best too. I also like your idea of a colored border on each side, maybe just a thin pop of color.
ReplyDeleteI think you are getting close Susan. I like your idea of a narrow plain border to the side of this one.

ReplyDeleteI love that you're showing us all the borders that you are auditioning. As a newer quilter, I'm learning a lot from this process. Thank you!

I like it a lot!! Thanks for posting all the auditions, it was really fun to see them and figure out what was working (or not) and why.
ReplyDeleteJust about there but I can tell you want it to have just a little more tweaking. It's working for me too.
